Welcome to the Hope Packages blog for 2012.

I've been very busy over the summer holidays and have designed

almost my entire year of classes!!

This year I am aiming to update this blog fortnightly

as I have LOADS of new designs to share with you.

If you'd like to learn how to make anything you see on this blog

you have 3 different options.

Mooroolbark or Greensborough studios (Melbourne, Australia)

Day and evening classes available for both adults and children

Second studio now open!!!

I am thrilled to announce the opening of our second

Hope Packages studio...

"Hope Packages Greensborough"

Belinda Green shares my love (addiction) of punch art and will be offering monthly punch art classes from her home studio in the northern suburbs of Melbourne (Greensborough).

Her first set of classes are being held in July 2011 and will cater for both adults and children.

My new studio is up and running and I couldn't be happier.

Located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne

I now offer Punch Art classes

day, evening or weekend.

You can join a current class,

or if you have a group of friends (minimum class size 3, maximum 6)

you can create your own group and choose what you learn.

Classes run for 2 hours and you will learn how to make

3 Punch art cards.

All the papers, punches and instructions provided.

Knight, Dragon and Princess Punch Art

The above Knight in Shinning Armour, Dragon and Princess are all made from punches.

I have attached them to cards, but they could easily adorn a "fairytale" scrapbook page.

Add wings and a magic wand to the Princess and she becomes a Fairy.

Change the pink color scheme to purple, pale blue, lemon... the possibilities are endless.

Bug punch art

I had a friend ask me to make her daughter some ladybug and butterfly themed chocolate covers for a small party she's having.

In my head, I heard "garden party" so I added a few

extra friends.

The following bugs are going to the party:

* Caterpillar

* Bee

* Snail

* Ladybug

* Butterfly

Each bug is made entirely from punches

The Caterpillar is made from:

3/4" circles, CP2 Carl Daisy

The Bee is made from:

1 1/4" circle, 3/4" circle, CP2 Carl Daisy, CP2 Carl Heart and CP1 Tear Drop

The Snail is made from:

1 1/2" circle, CP2 Daisy, 1" circle and the swirl is a CP2 Carl punch but I don't know the name I'm sorry

The Ladybug is made from:

1 1/4" circle, 3/4" circle, CP2 Carl Daisy and a standard hole punch

The Butterfly is made from:

Small oval, CP2 Carl Daisy and the large EK Success Large Retro flower

Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse punch art

It was a cold, rainy day in Melbourne yesterday, so what's a girl to do???

Play dress ups of course!

I took my punched art bear (see previous post) and dressed him up.

Here he/she is as Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.
